Mike Vrabel has three Super Bowl titles to his name from his playing days with the Patriots. He’d like one more as coach of the Titans, and he’s willing to make a pretty big sacrifice for it.
The 43-year-old ex-linebacker revealed just how much he wants one more championship this week during an appearance on the “Bussin’ With The Boys” podcast hosted by Titans players Taylor Lewan and Will Compton.
Lewan posed a question the BWTB crew had clearly discussed beforehand: Would you be willing to cut off a very specific appendage for a Super Bowl win?
“Been married 20 years,” Vrabel said, with little hesitation. “Yeah, probably.
“You guys will be married for 20 years one day. You won’t need it.”
As for whether his wife, Jen, would mind the Super Bowl swap, Vrabel had an idea of her response.
“She’d be like, ‘Do you want me to do it? Do you want to do it now?’” Vrabel said.
Lewan and Compton got a good laugh out of the bit, though they’ve probably also got a little more respect for their coach, too.
