Liverpool team news: Predicted 4-3-3 line up vs Genk – Key duo ruled out, Salah decision

Liverpool could welcome Mohamed Salah back from injury when they continue their Champions League campaign away at Genk tonight (8pm BST).

Mohamed Salah is available for Liverpool when the Reds face Genk in Belgium tonight, having recovered from a knock that ruled him out of Sunday’s draw with Manchester United.

The Egyptian was the victim of a hefty challenge from Hamza Choudhury in the win over Leicester before the international break and sat out the 1-1 stalemate at Old Trafford but has now been passed fit.

However, the Reds will definitely be without two key first-team players after Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joel Matip were left out of the travelling squad due to illness and a knee problem respectively.

Joe Gomez is therefore expected to deputise at right-back while Dejan Lovren should come into central defence alongside Virgil van Dijk.
