Liverpool return to Premier League action this weekend when they face Newcastle United at Anfield on Saturday (12.30pm), but the Reds are likely to remain without a couple of key players.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is unlikely to be able to call upon either Alisson or Naby Keita when the Reds face Newcastle this weekend.
Alisson injured his calf in the opening game of the season against Norwich and a return date for the Brazilian has not yet been specified.
Meanwhile, Keita is closing in on a comeback following a groin injury but the clash with Newcastle is expected to come too soon for the Guinea midfielder to feature.
Keita picked up the muscle problem in training before the Super Cup final against Chelsea last month and while Physio Room suggest he could face the Magpies, Klopp is unlikely to take such a risk.
