Man Utd urged to make EIGHT new signings to get them out of ‘desperate trouble’

MANCHESTER UNITED need to sign “three quarters of a team” in the transfer market, claims Liverpool legend Steve Nicol.

Manchester United have so far made just one signing in the summer window.

Wales winger Daniel James has joined the club from Swansea for an initial £15million.

Reports claim United will have a further £100m to spend for the remainder of the window.

However, Nicol does not believe that is enough to fix the “desperate trouble” they are in.
